Blessed Assurance

"You have made known to me the paths of life; you will fill ,e with joy in your presence." Acts 2:28 NIV

Sometimes I mis-think the experiences in my life. Every now and then, I take my eyes of my Lord and pat myself on my back and, "Well done Cheryl."

But He doesn't let these lapses slip by unchecked and without rebuke.

I immediately hear, "Well done who?"

"OOPS! Sorry Lord. Forgive me."

When I learn a life lesson, see the positive side to a trying situation, come up with an idea to solve a problem and finally grasp the deeper meaning to a spiritual truth, I have done nothing. It is all of God and with the remnants of remaining sin still clinging . I forget that sometimes.
